Hybrid Connectivity Integration
Keep your existing control system in charge — and extend it with QB Modules and QB Control capabilities, connected over OPC-UA or Modbus.
How it works
Extend your setup; keep your system in control.
You have an existing solution that can be integrated with QB Control via hardware/software connectivity. Your hardware is extended with new QB Modules and QB Control capabilities, while it remains controlled from your existing system over OPC-UA or Modbus.
In practice
What this looks like in practice.
- Complex feeding
Add a pump or syringe pump
Add a QB pump or syringe pump to your existing setup for a complex feeding scenario — managed by the QB Control recipe engine and triggered from your control system over OPC-UA.
- Automated sampling
Add a QB AutoSampler
Add a QB AutoSampler to your existing bioreactor setup and trigger sampling independently from QB Control, or from your control system over OPC-UA (on device state change or a condition-based trigger).
- New sensors
Add a QB Multisensor
Add new sensors via QB Multisensor and use them in your existing control software's processes over OPC-UA.
Standards
Connect over the standards you already run.
Integration runs over OPC-UA (client and server), Modbus, MQTT and REST API — so QB sits cleanly between your control system and the new modules.
